Cycling Adventures and Tips: Routes, Rides, and How-To Guides
Welcome to our hub for all things cycling. A space where we share our favourite rides, routes, and lessons learned from life on two wheels. What started as a shared hobby, biking has become one of our favourite ways to explore, challenge ourselves, and spend time outdoors.
We’re not professionals. Just two people who genuinely love bikes. Mark has been riding most of his life, from mountain and dirt bikes to road cycling, while Erin came into it later. Together, we’ve collected a mix of firsthand stories, tips, and adventures. From multi-day trips and weekend rides to gear recommendations and training insights.
Whether you’re dreaming up your first big ride, looking for local routes to explore, or trying to understand how to train and fuel smarter, you’ll find something here to help. And hopefully inspire you to get out and ride. Because in the end, the best part of cycling isn’t just where you go, it’s everything you experience along the way.

When Erin first started cycling, she quickly realized just how much there is to learn — and how easily the sport can feel intimidating. From gear choices to group rides to understanding all the cycling jargon, it was a lot to take in. Starting something new as an adult is challenging enough, but doing it in a space that can feel unfamiliar makes it even harder. That’s why she created this ‘Starter Kit.’ It is a simple, honest series to help people feel more confident, informed, and excited to get on the bike and start riding.
